The 980 nm 10 W Fiber Coupled Laser Diode is an advanced medical-grade laser source engineered for applications requiring absolute spectral consistency and power stability. Operating at the versatile 980 nm wavelength, which is ideal for both dental soft-tissue procedures, aesthetic vascular treatments and fiber laser experiments. This module also features a high-reliability integrated Thermo-Electric Cooler (TEC). Delivering 10 W of stabilized output through a 200 µm fiber core, the K980 series is a “smart” laser engine. It combines an internal 635 nm visible aiming beam for precise guidance with a built-in monitor photodiode for closed-loop feedback. With a high electrical conversion efficiency of 48% and an integrated thermistor for thermal protection, this unit provides the reliability and long-term durability necessary for premium surgical workstations and research laboratory integration.
