The K976BGLRN-900.0W is a high-power, light-weight, wavelength-stabilized fiber-coupled laser diode delivering 900W of Continuous Wave (CW) output power at a tightly controlled center wavelength of 976nm (±1nm). This industrial-grade laser diode is engineered for the precise absorption demands of fiber laser pumping, where peak overlap with the Ytterbium gain medium absorption band is critical for maximum system efficiency. A defining characteristic of this laser diode is its wavelength stabilization performance: ≥90% of output power is concentrated within the narrow 974.5nm–977.5nm band, ensuring consistent pump absorption without wavelength drift penalties. The module incorporates 30dB feedback isolation across the 1020nm–1200nm range, protecting the diode stack from back-reflections inherent to high-power fiber laser cavities. The K976BGLRN-900.0W features a 220μm core diameter fiber (0.22 NA) with FC-ferrule termination and a 2-meter pigtail enclosed in 0.9mm loose tubing. With a typical electrical-to-optical efficiency of 48% and slope efficiency of 30 W/A, this laser diode module delivers an exceptional balance of raw optical power and energy efficiency, making it a reliable pump source for next-generation high-energy laser systems.
