The K976AA5RN-50.00W is a wavelength-stabilized, high-brightness fiber-coupled laser diode delivering 50W of Continuous Wave (CW) output power at a tightly controlled center wavelength of 976nm (975.5nm–976.5nm). Built specifically for fiber laser pumping, this laser diode combines an ultra-narrow spectral bandwidth of ≤0.7nm (FWHM) with exceptional beam brightness — concentrating 95% of its output power within just 0.13 NA — making it one of the highest-brightness 976nm pump sources available in its power class.The spectral precision of this laser diode is underpinned by a wavelength thermal drift of only 0.02 nm/°C, keeping the output firmly locked to the Ytterbium gain fiber absorption peak across the entire operating temperature range. This minimizes wasted pump power due to spectral mismatch and is particularly valuable in wavelength-sensitive applications such as narrow-linewidth fiber amplifiers, precision spectroscopy, and high-efficiency MOPA architectures where every milliwatt of pump absorption counts.The K976AA5RN-50.00W features a compact 105μm core fiber (0.15 NA) with a 1-meter pigtail enclosed in 250μm buffer, with a tight minimum bending radius of just 37.5mm — ideal for space-constrained OEM assemblies. The 6-pin package includes optional Thermistor (Pins 3 & 4) and Photodiode (Pins 5 & 6) monitoring interfaces. With a rated MTTF lifetime of 100,000 hours and a typical electrical-to-optical efficiency of 45%, this module delivers long-term reliability and energy efficiency for demanding industrial and scientific laser systems.
