The K915FN1RN-160.0W is a high-brightness, high-power fiber-coupled laser diode delivering 160W of Continuous Wave (CW) output power at a center wavelength of 915nm (±10nm). Labeled as a customized product, this module addresses a demanding niche in the 915nm pump lineup: delivering high power through a compact 106.5µm core fiber (0.22 NA) — significantly smaller than the 200µm core used on the 300W module — enabling higher brightness per unit area for demanding beam combining and tight-clad fiber coupling applications. The standout specification is the **brightness certification: 95% typical of output power is contained within the 0.15 NA spot cone** (0.15/0.22 NA spot ratio). This is the tightest brightness qualification in the entire 915nm lineup, confirming the module is optimized not just for standard 0.22 NA double-clad fiber combiners but specifically for high-brightness 0.15 NA combiner ports and beam-quality-sensitive fiber laser architectures. Wavelength shift with current is also specified at 1 nm/A, giving designers accurate tuning data for current-sweep applications. With a bare (no connector) fiber termination through 0.9mm PTFE loose tubing, 50mm minimum bending radius, 2-meter pigtail, and a maximum operating voltage of 29V with a maximum current of 15A, this module is a direct-splice, OEM-integration-ready pump source. The 30dB feedback isolation band from 1020–1200nm protects the diode against back-reflected Yb fiber laser signal light in the target application.
