The K808DN1RN-40.00W is a high-power fiber-coupled laser diode delivering 40W of Continuous Wave (CW) output power at a center wavelength of 808nm (±3nm). This module is distinguished within the 808nm lineup by two unique specifications: a,106.5µm fiber core, slope efficiency of 9 W/A typical**, the highest slope efficiency of any 808nm module in the catalog. These parameters together define a high-brightness pump source with exceptional power conversion per amp of drive current, delivering 40W into a tight 106.5µm aperture from a remarkably low maximum operating current of just 5.5A. The FPT (Flat-Polished Tip) fiber termination, bare fiber or SMA905, provides you to chose whichever convenient for your application. The fiber is housed in 0.9mm PTFE tubing (180cm length), with a 250µm buffer diameter and a 60mm minimum bending radius — the tightest bending radius specification in the 808nm lineup, supporting compact fiber routing in space-constrained OEM laser chassis. The feedback isolation band on this module is specified as **1040–1200nm** (vs. 1020–1200nm on other 808nm modules), making it specifically tuned to block Yb fiber laser signal wavelengths rather than Nd crystal laser wavelengths — confirming the primary target application as Yb-doped fiber laser pumping rather than Nd:YAG solid-state pumping. Both the fiber type and the feedback isolation band can be customized to customer requirements per the datasheet notes.
