The K793DAHRN-16.00W is a 793nm 16W fiber-coupled laser diode delivering CW output at 793nm (±3nm) through a 105μm core, 0.22 NA fiber with FC-ferrule termination. It occupies the lower mid-range of the 793nm lineup between the 4W entry module and the 30W standard module, sharing the same compact 105μm core format, 1900–2100nm feedback isolation band, and 20–30°C operating case temperature window as the 30W sibling. Two unique aspects distinguish it within the lineup: the **FC-ferrule** termination (the only 793nm module specifying the FC connector format explicitly rather than a generic “ferrule”) and **optional thermistor pins** (Pins 3 & 4) — the only 793nm module offering an integrated temperature monitoring option. The optional thermistor enables passive or active temperature monitoring of the laser package case — useful for OEM system designs that require thermal fault detection or temperature logging without the complexity of a full TEC control loop. The wavelength shift with current specification of 0.6 nm/A (also unique among the 793nm modules, which otherwise specify only temperature drift) provides laser driver designers with the data needed to predict wavelength tuning behavior under current modulation, relevant for pulsed or modulated pump applications in scientific and spectroscopic setups. Electrically, the 16W module operates at a typical current of 10A (max 11A) at a low 3.8V typical / 4.4V max operating voltage — a compact voltage rail compatible with standard single-supply 5V OEM laser driver boards. The 42% electrical-to-optical efficiency, 1.6 W/A slope efficiency, 3nm FWHM typical spectral width (max 7nm), and 1-meter fiber pigtail in 0.9mm loose tubing with 50mm minimum bending radius complete the specification.
