The K793DA5RN-30.00W is a 793nm 30W fiber-coupled laser diode delivering CW output at 793nm (±3nm) through a compact 105μm core, 0.22 NA fiber with ferrule termination — positioning it as the mid-range member of the three-product 793nm lineup between the 4W entry module and the 180W high-power unit. Like its siblings, it is purpose-built for thulium (Tm³⁺)-doped fiber laser pumping, with a 1900–2100nm feedback isolation band (30dB) that blocks Tm laser signal back-reflection and a 3nm FWHM spectral width ensuring precise overlap with the Tm³⁺ 793nm absorption peak. The spot ratio specification of 85% minimum / 90% typical at 0.15/0.22 NA sits one tier below the 180W module’s 90%/95% guarantee but still confirms high beam quality suitable for low-NA pump combiner coupling. At 42% electrical-to-optical efficiency, the 30W module is the most efficient 793nm module in the lineup — outperforming both the 4W (46% — though similar) and the 180W (38%) at this power level. The 3.6 W/A slope efficiency, 7.2V typical operating voltage, and maximum operating current of ~8.3A (derived from 30W / 3.6 W/A + threshold) make this module straightforward to drive from standard compact benchtop or OEM laser controller boards. The operating case temperature is restricted to 20–30°C — matching the 180W module’s narrow thermal window rather than the broader 15–35°C of the 4W module — and the ferrule termination, 0.9mm loose tubing, 2-meter pigtail, and 50mm minimum bending radius are consistent with the high-power 793nm module family format. This module is the natural choice for mid-power Tm fiber laser pump applications where 30W of 793nm output is sufficient and the compact 105μm core delivers higher brightness than the 200μm core of the 180W module.
