The K915-A0-300.0W-20022-S is a high-power fiber-coupled laser diode delivering 300W of Continuous Wave (CW) output power at a center wavelength of 915nm (±10nm). Designed for high-power fiber laser pumping, this module targets the 915nm absorption band of Ytterbium-doped gain fiber — a broad, thermally stable pump band that provides robust operation in demanding industrial and scientific fiber laser architectures where spectral stability under thermal load is critical. A unique optical parameter on this module is the dual-NA brightness specification: the datasheet guarantees that ≥90% of the output power (minimum) and ≥95% (typical) is encircled within the 0.17 NA beam cone, while the full aperture is 0.22 NA. This dual-NA brightness certification means the module is qualified not just for 0.22 NA double-clad fiber coupling, but also for high-brightness applications requiring tighter beam confinement in 0.17 NA or smaller clad fiber combiner ports, a distinction not found on lower-power 915nm modules. With a 200μm core fiber (0.22 NA), FF (flat-face, bare-end) termination, 88mm minimum bending radius, and 2-meter pigtail in 0.9mm loose tubing, the K915-A0-300.0W-20022-S delivers 300W at 50% efficiency and a typical operating voltage of 22.4V. The 30dB feedback isolation band (1020–1200nm) protects the diode from back-reflected Yb laser signal light, and the wide 15–35°C case temperature range ensures compatibility with standard water-cooled OEM mounts and industrial pump laser platforms.
