The K940EL9RN-150.0W is a high-power fiber-coupled laser diode delivering 150W of Continuous Wave (CW) output power at a center wavelength of 940nm (±5nm). Engineered for laser pumping applications, this module operates in the 940nm absorption band of Ytterbium-doped gain fiber — providing a thermally tolerant, broad-bandwidth alternative to 976nm pumping in high-power fiber laser and amplifier systems where spectral precision requirements are more relaxed. A standout feature distinguishing this module from others in the 940nm lineup is its **SMA905 fiber termination** — the industry-standard connector for high-power laser delivery in medical, industrial, and scientific instruments. The SMA905 interface enables tool-free fiber connection and disconnection, making this module directly plug-compatible with standard laser delivery fibers, treatment handpieces, and optical measurement setups without custom fiber splicing or assembly work. The K940EL9RN-150.0W outputs through a compact 106.5μm core fiber (0.22 NA) enclosed in 3mm loose tubing with a 2-meter pigtail and a minimum bending radius of 50mm. With a class-leading typical electrical-to-optical efficiency of 50% — the highest in the 940nm product family — and a wide operating temperature range of 15°C to 35°C, this air-cooled module delivers exceptional power conversion efficiency in a connector-ready, integration-friendly package.
