The K976-A0-460.0W-22022-D is a high-power fiber-coupled laser diode delivering 460W of Continuous Wave (CW) output power at a center wavelength of 976nm (±3nm). Purpose-built for fiber laser pumping, this laser diode operates precisely at the peak absorption band of Ytterbium-doped double-clad fiber, ensuring maximum pump-to-signal conversion efficiency in industrial and scientific high-power laser systems. This laser diode module stands out with its high beam brightness, delivering ≥90% of output power within a 0.17 NA and ≥95% within 0.22 NA. This tight power concentration in the low-NA region improves coupling efficiency into fiber laser combiners, reducing insertion losses and maximizing usable pump power in the gain fiber. The integrated 30dB feedback isolation across the 1020nm–1200nm range provides reliable protection against back-reflections common in fiber laser cavities. The K976-A0-460.0W-22022-D features a 220μm core diameter fiber (0.22 NA) with FF (flat-fiber ferrule) termination, enclosed in 0.9mm loose tubing with a 2-meter pigtail. With a class-leading typical electrical-to-optical efficiency of 49% and a wide operating case temperature range of 15°C to 35°C, this air-cooled laser diode module offers exceptional power conversion and thermal flexibility for OEM fiber laser system integration.
