The K976-A0-510.0W-22022-D is a high-power fiber-coupled laser diode delivering 510W of Continuous Wave (CW) output power at a center wavelength of 976nm (±3nm). Engineered for the demanding requirements of fiber laser pumping, this laser diode operates at the peak absorption wavelength of Ytterbium-doped double-clad fiber, enabling maximum pump-to-signal power conversion in high-energy industrial and scientific laser architectures. A notable feature of this laser diode module is its dual NA brightness specification: ≥90% of output power is delivered within 0.17 NA, with ≥95% within 0.22 NA. This high beam quality ensures efficient coupling into fiber laser combiners and double-clad gain fibers, reducing insertion losses and improving overall system efficiency. The integrated 30dB feedback isolation across the 1020nm–1200nm range protects the diode stack from back-reflections common in fiber laser cavities. The K976-A0-510.0W-22022-D outputs through a 220μm core diameter fiber (0.22 NA) with FF (flat-fiber ferrule) termination, enclosed in 0.9mm loose tubing with a 2-meter pigtail. With a typical electrical-to-optical efficiency of 46% and a wide operating case temperature range of 15°C to 35°C, this air-cooled laser diode module provides a flexible and reliable pump source for both industrial laser processing and scientific research systems.
