The K976DNERN-700.0W is a high-power fiber-coupled laser diode delivering 700W of Continuous Wave (CW) output power at a center wavelength of 976nm (±3nm). Designed specifically for the stringent demands of fiber laser pumping, this laser diode module operates at the peak absorption wavelength of Ytterbium-doped gain media, ensuring maximum pump-to-signal conversion efficiency in high-energy laser architectures. A key strength of this laser diode is its exceptional electrical-to-optical efficiency of ≥50%, one of the highest in its power class. This minimizes thermal dissipation under sustained high-load operation, reducing cooling requirements and extending the operational lifetime of the module. The integrated 30dB feedback isolation across the 1020nm–1200nm range further protects the diode stack from back-reflections common in fiber laser cavities. The K976DNERN-700.0W outputs through a 200μm core diameter fiber (0.22 NA) with a 2-meter pigtail enclosed in 0.9mm loose tubing, terminated bare (no connector). With a slope efficiency of 24.5 W/A and an operating voltage of 45.6V typical, this compact air-cooled laser diode module provides a reliable, integration-ready pump source for industrial and scientific laser systems operating at 25°C.
