The K980FAMCA-30.00W is a high-performance, industrial-grade laser diode module engineered to deliver 30W of Continuous Wave (CW) output power at a center wavelength of 980nm (±10nm). As a flagship “Multi-Function” standard product, this diode is specifically designed to meet the rigorous demands of medical treatment systems, dental surgery equipment, and advanced scientific research where precision, power stability, and safety are critical. A defining feature of this model is its detachable fiber interface, which utilizes a standard SMA905 connector. Unlike pigtailed diodes where a damaged fiber renders the whole unit unusable, the K980FAMCA allows for the connection of standard 200µm core diameter (0.22 NA) fibers. This design facilitates easy fiber replacement and system maintenance, significantly reducing long-term operational costs and downtime. True to its “Multi-Function” designation, this module is equipped with a comprehensive suite of integrated internal sensors for real-time monitoring and safety. It features a built-in Red (635nm) Aiming Beam to assist operators with precise visual alignment of the invisible infrared laser. Additionally, the package houses a Power Photodiode (PD) and a Fiber Detector, ensuring safe operation by allowing the system to monitor output levels and confirm secure fiber connectivity.
