The 793 nm 80 W Fiber Coupled Diode Laser is a high-performance infrared source engineered specifically for the resonant pumping of Thulium (Tm) and Holmium (Ho) doped active fibers. Delivering a robust 80 W of continuous-wave output, this module provides the power density and spectral reliability required to drive high-power 2 µm laser systems used in medical, defense, and scientific research. Housed in a robust industrial package, the K793 series features a concentrated 200 µm fiber core (0.22 NA) for superior energy concentration. To ensure long-term diode health in high-power architectures, the module is equipped with specialized 30 dB feedback isolation in the 1900 nm – 2100 nm range. This critical feature shields the diode from the 2 µm back-reflections generated during the lasing process. With its industrial thermal design and high-reliability FC-Ferrule termination, this module is the definitive engine for infrared surgical platforms and advanced material processing.
